// Article 1 // PRICES
1:1 - The prices of our products are set in US dollars, all taxes included. Handling and shipping fees are not included. The price for the book has been set in strict respect of French Lang law 81-766 of August 10, 1981.
1:2 - The editor/distributor retains his right to modify the prices at any time. Products, however, will be charged on the basis of the prices quoted when the purchase was completed.
// Article 2 // ORDERS
Contractual information is available in English and will be confirmed upon delivery at the latest. The editor/distributor retains his right to cancel any order from a customer if there is an unresolved dispute about any previous order.
// Article 3 // VALIDATION
You declare you have read and accept the hereby General Terms of Sale prior placing your order. The validation of your order implies acceptance of these General Terms of Sale.
Unless proved otherwise data saved by Louisiane Editions constitutes the proof for the transaction between the editor/distributor and the customer.
// Article 4 // AVAILABILITY
Our products are available at the prices quoted online as long as they are listed online.
Should a product become unavailable after the date of the order, we will let you know upon receipt of information from our supplier. Your order will be automatically canceled, and the amount of your purchase will be immediately refunded.
// Article 5 // DELIVERY
Products are delivered to the address on the order form. Waiting time mentioned on the order form is the average time for handling and shipping.
Should delivery be delayed after the product has been shipped, the order can be canceled and the amount of the purchase and return fees refunded upon request. Should you receive the product after canceling your order, the amount of the purchase and return fees will be refunded after Louisiane Editions has received the product, complete and in its original condition.
// Article 6 // PAYMENT
Your credit card will be debited upon receipt of order.
// Article 7 // SECURITY
All payments on our website are secured by Paypal, which bears full responsibility for it.
// Article 8 // PRODUCTS COMPLIANCY
Louisiane Editions undertakes to either exchange or to refund, at the customer's request, any faulty or damaged product upon return of the item with a detailed statement. Request is to be made within 15 working days after delivery. No request will be accepted once the alloted time has expired. Shipping and return fees will be refunded on the basis of the invoice amount. All legal warranty terms apply, including terms related to hidden defects.
// Article 9 // REFUND
Refunds for the reasons listed in Article 8 will be made within 15 days after the product's return. Refund will be made at the choice of Louisiane Editions either by crediting the customer's bank account or by a check made out to the customer as his name appears on the order form. No C.O.D. orders will be accepted.
// Article 10 // APPLICABLE LAW - DISPUTES
This contract is subject to French law, to the Paris court dealing with trade disputes. The language for this contract is English. Disputes come within the jurisdiction of French courts only.

All information requested is required to process customers' orders and for commercial relationship. Therefore, this information may be shared with partner-companies being part of this relationship, such as companies in charge of handling and shipping, as well as payment. This information is saved for security reasons, for compliance with legal obligations and to improve and personalize our service and information to customers. In accordance with the Informatique et Liberté law of January 6, 1978 you have the right to access and modify any personal data about yourself. Please make a written request with your name, e-mail address, post mail address and customer number.
